Lindon's Business Side: 700 North and the Flex Space West of I-15
Lindon sells itself as "a little bit of country," but the land along the freeway is a working business district. The city describes the 700 North Business Corridor as a five-lane, limited-access parkway with more than 250 commercial acres, and its 2018 retail profile counted a daytime employee population of 4,859 in a city of about 12,000 residents.
West of I-15, office/warehouse buildings fill the West Lindon Business Park around 730 N 2800 W, and a two-building industrial project of roughly 198,000 square feet at 310 N Geneva Road is expected to be finished in 2026. Flex buildings like these usually have a glass front entry, steel man doors at the back, and an office-to-warehouse door that staff push through all day. Doors in that kind of service need Grade 1 locks, closers set to latch every time, and exit devices that open with one push.
Office work is growing too. GoHealth broke ground in 2020 on a five-floor, 156,000 square foot Lindon building for more than 1,000 employees, a headcount where card entry and a written key schedule beat a drawer of loose keys. Along State Street, a row of independent used-car lots adds small sales offices that hold vehicle keys overnight.
