Lehi Car Lockouts, From Thanksgiving Point to the Tech Corridor
Lehi has grown from about 19,000 residents in 2000 to more than 95,000 in the Census Bureau's 2025 estimate, enough to pass Orem, and much of that growth works, shops, and commutes near I-15. The Lehi FrontRunner station is at 3101 North Ashton Boulevard inside the Thanksgiving Point business park, with more than 735 free parking spaces. Ashton Gardens, the Museum of Ancient Life, Butterfly Biosphere, and Farm Country are part of the same Thanksgiving Point grounds, so commuters and visitors park within a few blocks of each other.
Farther north, the Outlets at Traverse Mountain have more than 50 stores on 50 acres, and Adobe's campus sits near Cabela's off I-15. Ancestry, Vivint, Oracle, DigiCert, Purple, and the Texas Instruments chip fabs are Lehi employers too. The I-15 Technology Corridor added Utah's first one-way frontage-road system between 2100 North and Timpanogos Highway, so tell us which side of the freeway you're parked on and the building name.
The north end of the county also gets rough weather. In June 2012, cold-front winds near Point of the Mountain tipped a semi on northbound I-15 in Lehi and closed the freeway. A windy, freezing parking lot at the end of a long workday is a poor place to wait for a spare key that's 20 miles away.
