Springville Lockouts From Hobble Creek to the I-15 Work Zone
Springville runs three city parks up Hobble Creek Canyon. Jolley's Ranch has a 54-site campground, 40 of the sites with electric hookups, and the pavilions at Jolley's Ranch, Kelly's Grove, and Rotary Park are open from May 1 through September 30. A camping weekend is a classic setting for a lockout: keys tossed in the car while unloading, a fob in a jacket on the back seat, or a trunk shut on the cooler with the keys beside it. Tell us the park and the site or pavilion when you call.
Back in town, the west side along I-15 is where Springville shops and grows. The Smith's Marketplace center at 400 South and 1200 West holds Smith's, Mountain America Credit Union, Cafe Rio, and EoS Fitness, and Westfields is the city's newest neighborhood plan. I-15 widening between Spanish Fork and Springville runs through the end of 2026, and the new Dry Creek Parkway interchange, exit 258, opened in July 2026 without a southbound on-ramp. Our usual route is State Street, which skips the freeway work entirely.
Downtown, the Springville Historic District covers about 500 acres and 1,260 primary buildings, and Art City Days in early June and the World Folkfest in July bring visitors to its streets and to the Springville Museum of Art. In summer, Wayne Bartholomew Family Park adds a reservoir and sandy beach, where a fob can easily get locked in the car with the beach bag.
